Parking is available directly across the street and it is a pleasant walk over to Navy Pier, up to Michigan Avenue, or over to Millennium Park.

“The Hills and river Clifts of this day exhibit a most romantick appearance on each Side of the river is a Soft Sand Stone bluff which rises to about half the hight of the hills, on the top of this Clift is a black earth on points, in maney places this Sand Stone appears like antient ruins some like elegant buildings at a distance, Some like Towers &c. &c. in maney places of this days march we observe on either Side of river extraodanary walls of a black Semented Stone which appear to be regularly placed one Stone on the other, Some of those walls run to a hite of 100 feet, they are from 1 foot to 12 feet thick and are perpendicular, those walls Commence at the waters edge & in Some places meet at right angles”

This months featured Limited Edition Print is from the White Cliffs area of the Missouri River Breaks part of the Missouri River which has changed little since the Corps of Discovery has past through the area 200 years ago. It is one of the places which has been saved as part of the Wild & Scenic River Act which designates such places to be kept forever wild. Even though agriculture comes up to the edges of the plateaus, the river is only accessible by water which gives visitors the sense of being in the wilderness and seeing the great river as it was in 1805.
This Limited Edition Print has a Journal entry from William Clark written on May 31, 1805.
The Limited Edition Prints, limited to 500 prints, are available for $400.00 unframed and $625.00 framed. See our website for more details and to view the entire selection of available Limited Edition Prints.
Any image from the book is available as a print, generally we print them as 12x18" prints on a 22x28" matt. They are available both framed and unframed. See the website for more details.
